RANDOM THOUGHTS 2:

There seems to be a lot of wars going on in Ghana today:

• Between Politics and Religion
• Between visionless Politicians and Enlightening youth
• Between Worldly Philosophy and the Knowledge of God
• Between Ruthless propaganda and the Conscience of men
• Between the force of Will and the power of truth

Interestingly, the things that we all argue about; the things that even good relationships break over are the very things we do not KNOW all the truth about except what we are told by the media and the powers that be.

May God help us all.

From my experiences before I left Ghana and from what I keep hearing, I have a few suggestions of places and events that the Ministry of Tourism in any government can develop into a tourist attraction:

1. ECG main switchboard
2. Annual Budget & Fuel Shortage Day
3. The Statue of Corruption-Liberty
4. The Ayarigate memorial Lectures

 

RANDOM THOUGHTS 4:

I was wondering: both Mitt Romney and Obama (even though he is an incumbent president) had to do fundraising from the public and businesses to pay for their predidential campaigns. I dont see any of this done by Ghana's predidential aspirants, so I have some questions:

NDC: Is HE Mahama using the taxpayers' money for their campaigns? If not, where does he get the funding from? He is certainly not that rich on his salary alone??

 

NPP: Where has Nana Addo been getting money to finance his 3 attempts at presidency? Is it borrowed money which will be repaid from national cofess when he assumes power??
